The Allied Health/Science Department offers a variety of allied health technology programs, science courses and clinical facilities to enable qualified students to:
- Become competent graduates in a chosen health career.
- Become clinicians with advanced knowledge in specialty areas.
- Transfer successfully completed courses to other educational institutions
The Allied Health/Science Department is vast and unique because of the successful partnerships that occur among the technology programs and the department.
Generally, the need for qualified entry-level clinicians in health care fields exceeds the number of graduates of the programs. Allied health program graduates can find jobs in a variety of settings. Many jobs offer excellent potential for career advancement especially with additional education.
A department as complex as this one needs dedicated support personnel to function effectively. This department is fortunate to have truly exceptional individuals who are always willing to assist students and faculty.
