Welcome . . .
The mission of the Delaware Tech Child Development Center is to provide care and education for the children of Delaware Tech students, faculty and staff.  In addition to providing care for young children, the Center facilitates learning opportunities for the students in the Early Childhood Education Department.  It also serves as a model and a community resource that exhibits high quality and developmentally appropriate programming.

The Child Development Center is a nationally accredited Center.  The National Association for the Education of Young Children recognizes the Child Development Center’s ability to provide high quality care for young children.  Quality at the Center is an ongoing journey that is constantly evolving and changing.  There are many opportunities to evaluate the program to ensure that the highest level of quality is being maintained.  It is very important that the families who are involved in the community at the Child Development Center be a driving force on the road to quality.  We need, want and cherish your support!

Testimonials
“The Center offered a slow start option for my child, since she had never been in a Center full time.  The slow start was fantastic. I would have no reservations in referring another parent that is seeking full time care to the DTCC Child Development Center
Kelly, Parent
“The staff is very friendly and the program really teaches children the necessary self-help skills.”
Kendra,  Parent
The teachers at the CDC keep me informed and I feel as if my daughter is in great hands.  I also appreciate that they are understanding of my need to feel like part of the classroom and welcome me to sit in, whenever I have extra time.
