The Women's Center sold leaves starting in January through the end of March, for our Annual Tree of Honor. The Tree of Honor recognizes women who have made a difference in our lives'. The purchase of $5.00 a leaf through the Women's Center, honored special woman throughout March, (Women's History Month). The Tree of Honor was recognized at our Celebration of Women and women were verbally honored that evening.
**All proceeds benefit the Women's Center.

March 2007
March is International Women’s History Month. The Women’s Center celebrates this special holiday every March by recognizing all women. This March we honored women through a small luncheon. Last March we celebrated women through diversity.
May 2007
The women of Delaware Tech gathered together for a High Tea. Many women joined in the fellowship of this wonderful experience, and enjoyed the simple pleasures of fine teas and delicious sandwiches.
September 2006
 The Women's Center Fall Open House was held September 12, 2006. Over 60 students, faculty and staff attended! The food was fabulous, and a handout of Women's Center events,workshops, and services were explained in detail. The Breast Cancer Awareness Walk, scheduled for Sunday, October 15 on the riverfront was promoted, and many women joined Team Delaware Tech.
A student who creates and sells beautiful hand made greeting cards, for all occasions, was at the Open House selling her products ("Cards by Dana".) The Women's Center plans to have her come back out for our Holiday Open House, December 7th, per the request of many of our visitors that day.
