Energy Education

Energy is a vital part of our society – it’s at the center of just about everything we do. Business and industry and consumers are all seeking stable, low-cost sources to power their companies and their homes. And every day, new jobs are created that reduce the use of fossil fuels while saving money and the environment. If you are looking for a rewarding career in a fast-growing field, there’s never been a better time to consider enrolling in one of Delaware Tech's energy programs.

Energy Programs:

  • Building Automation Systems (BAS) Option - Associate Degree
  • Energy Management - Associate Degree
  • Renewable Energy Solar - Associate Degree
  • Refrigeration Heating and Air Conditioning - Associate Degree

Energy Buildings

Delaware Technical Community College was awarded $4,297,800 in grants in 2009-10 by the Economic Development Administration (EDA) to build energy education facilities at the College’s Owens, Terry, and Stanton campuses. The funding allowed for the construction of a statewide learning system that will serve as the region’s first comprehensive workforce development center to support a growing green economy.

Energy Facilities:

  • Owens Campus: Energy House
  • Terry Campus: The Center for Energy Education and Training
  • Stanton Campus: The Sustainable Energy Training Center
