Business and industry and consumers are all seeking stable, low-cost sources to power their companies and their homes. And every day, new jobs are created that reduce the use of fossil fuels while saving money and the environment. Delaware Technical Community College was awarded $4,297,800 in grants in 2009-10 by the Economic Development Administration (EDA) to build energy education facilities at the College’s Owens, Terry, and Stanton campuses. The funding allowed for the construction of a statewide learning system that will serve as the region’s first comprehensive workforce development center to support a growing green economy.
