In honor of Black History Month, Delaware Tech's Stanton and Wilmington campuses host an annual event that recognizes the personal and professional achievements of local leaders that have made a significant impact on the community.

Delaware Tech will offer a variety of youth programing during summer 2021 through the division of Workforce Development and Community Education.

Under normal circumstances, Delaware Technical Community College agriculture students would typically visit Mountaire Farms facilities for four in-person tours to see the hatchery, processing plant, rendering plant, and feed mill.

Last week, Delaware Tech presented its budget needs for the upcoming year to the General Assembly’s Joint Finance Committee. The College’s top priority is to enhance the faculty salary plan to make it more competitive with the state’s K-12 school districts.

A graphic designed by Delaware Tech visual communications student Alleth Gabrielle Almario has been selected as the T-shirt artwork for this year's Chocolate 5k Run/Walk, a College fundraising event taking place virtually throughout the month of February 2021.

Georgetown, DE, – Delaware Technical Community College's Automotive Technology Program recently unveiled a new academic program - a Diesel Technology Associate of Applied Science degree.

On Aug. 3, 2020, Gov. John Carney signed Executive Order #43 (E043) creating the Rapid Workforce Training and Redeployment Initiative to assist Delaware workers and their families who have lost jobs and income due to the COVID-19 crisis.

Delaware Technical Community College is proud to recognize the students who achieved academic excellence during 2020 and were named to the College’s President’s List or Dean’s List.

Two high school juniors participating in Delaware Tech's Upward Bound Classic (UBC) and Upward Bound Math Science (UBMS) programs were selected as the recipient and first runner up for the prestigious Don and Nancy Edwards Scholarship.

Delaware Technical Community College has received a grant from Bank of America to support economic mobility in Delaware.

To meet the needs of our students and community members during the pandemic, Delaware Tech partnered with the Food Bank of Delaware to host 13 mobile food pantry events at all four campuses since April, serving a total of 2,492 households statewide.

Delaware inmates will soon have access to college-level instruction through a new collaboration between Delaware Tech, the Delaware Department of Correction, and the Delaware Department of Education.
