DOVER - Delaware Tech’s new nursing simulation lab gives students significant professional health care training and practice prior to entering the medical field. The College – using grant funding from Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield Delaware’s “BluePrints for the Community” – renovated existing space and added a five-bay simulation lab to its facility. STANTON/WILMINGTON - The Delaware Tech Automotive program has done it again. Almost a year after transforming a 1964 Dodge Dart affectionately known as Rusty from, well, rusty to a drag racing demon, instructor Frank Adkins and a class of his students worked the same magic on a 1965 Plymouth Valiant, a close cousin to the Dart. WILMINGTON - Thirty Delaware Tech students completed Certified Peer Educator (CPE) Training at the Wilmington Campus on March 7-8. Funding for the 12-hour training was provided through a Delaware Tech Student Success Grant submitted by Cara Stanard, Academic Counselor at the Wilmington Campus, and colleagues Mike McCloskey and Robin Williams.
