Delaware Tech student named recipient of prestigious Jack Kent Cooke Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship
DOVER – Delaware Tech student Steve Seichepine of Clayton, has been selected to receive a Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship. He is one of 85 scholars selected this year to receive the award, and the first from Delaware Tech.
The scholarship is for up to $30,000 per year and is intended to cover the final two to three year’s necessary to achieve a bachelor’s degree.
Seichepine is a member of both the Engineering Club and Phi Theta Kappa and has also completed a 10-week internship with Procter & Gamble.
He will graduate in May with an electromechanical engineering technology associate degree. After graduation, Seichepine plans to continue his studies, focusing on materials science and engineering research.
