Criminal Justice and Homeland Security Club Learns About Hometown Security

Members of the Criminal Justice and Homeland Security Club on the College's Dover campus recently welcomed Detective Timothy Kerstetter, Delaware State Police (DSP) Terrorism Liaison Officer, as a guest speaker.
In his role at DSP, Det. Kerstetter provides training and education to a wide array of disciplines on matters of homeland security. His presentation to the club shared insight on what he calls "hometown security," as well as potential career opportunities within the state.
Comprised of criminal justice and homeland security majors at Delaware Tech, the club routinely holds meetings and special activities, such as an upcoming trip to Washington, DC, to visit the International Spy Museum and Supreme Court. While trips are strictly for club members, meetings are open to community members who share an interest in these fields.
