Visual Communications Students Earn Adobe Certifications

Delaware Tech's visual communications program celebrated its students who earned Adobe Certified Associate (ACA) certifications during 2021 by handing out Adobe Certification Celebration packets. The packets were developed by program faculty and were based on a tier system, with more certifications and higher scores resulting in a larger packet.
Collectively, 104 students earned 139 certificates in the Creative Cloud applications of Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro.
Four students were recognized for receiving the highest certification exam score in each specific Adobe program: Liam Gardner-Bowler in InDesign, Dante Pino in Premiere Pro, Michael Snapp in Photoshop, and Yanni Wiest in Illustrator.
Pino and Wiest were also acknowledged for obtaining certifications in all four applications, while six students obtained certifications in three applications and 16 students earned two certifications.
"Earning these certifications shows that our students are proficient in Creative Cloud software, and because they have become Adobe certified they are starting to show that they are amongst the rising stars of our industry,” said Patti Bishop, visual communications department chair. "The skills set they are developing gives them the opportunity to create some amazing things. Creativity matched with technology is a catalyst for success."
