Hometown Heroes Virtual 5K

Held October 16 - October 25, 2020

Join Delaware Tech’s hometown heroes for a virtual 5K run/walk at your own pace, place, and time!

Delaware Tech’s Stanton and Wilmington campuses present the Hometown Heroes 5K Walk/Run, benefiting the Delaware Technical Community College Emergency Fund for Students, which provides financial assistance to students who find themselves in an unexpected or emergency situation that makes it difficult for them to complete their current semester.

During these challenging times, the need has been greater than ever. Delaware Tech trains many of Delaware’s essential workers such as paramedics, nurses, small business owners, IT professionals, and more.

How does a virtual 5K work?

With a virtual event you can run/walk your 5K anytime and anyplace. Just complete your miles and submit your time. It is that simple and convenient.
