Jordan Cannon, a nursing student at Delaware Technical Community College, has been named a 2021 New Century Transfer Scholar and will receive a $2,250 scholarship.

The National Council for Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR) held its national conference and Paragon Awards show on March 18, 2021.

The Stanton and Wilmington campuses of Delaware Tech hosted the Hometown Heroes Virtual 5k October 16-25, 2020. The virtual run/walk allowed participants to walk or run at their own pace, place, and time.

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit this spring, Delaware Tech made the decision to deliver classes primarily through distance learning, which meant faculty members were suddenly thrust into a new way of teaching.

On August 3, 2020, Governor John Carney signed Executive Order #43 (E043) creating the Rapid Workforce Training and Redeployment Initiative to assist Delaware workers and their families who have lost jobs and income due to the COVID-19 crisis.

After being unable to field a collegiate-level team for the past two seasons, the Delaware Tech men's lacrosse program has regrouped and is ready for a potential 2021 season.

Sierra Adams was ready to play collegiate basketball for Delaware Tech during the 2019-2020 season. Unfortunately, the team didn't have enough players to field a team, canceling the season.

The 12th annual Kent County Economic Summit, held September 15, 2020, was transitioned to a virtual event, but the main components remained in place and 378 individuals were still able to come together to hear panel discussions, a keynote address, and remarks from Governor John Carney.
