WILMINGTON – On February 6, 2014, the Delaware Air National Guard recognized members of Delaware Technical Community College at a ceremony at the New Castle Air Base. The ceremony celebrated the successful partnership between Delaware Tech and the 166th Airlift Wing to offer classes at the Delaware Air National Guard during hours convenient for guardsmen. Men’s basketball guard Larry Woody (Howard High School of Technology,  Bear, DE) scorched Burlington County College for 33 points on 11 three-pointers in a win last week,  earning him the Delaware Technical Community College athlete of the week award. Full Story

DOVER – To say the Delaware Tech Lady Hawks soared through this season would be an understatement.  The Women’s Volleyball team claimed the 2013 Region XIX Division II Volleyball title with a 3-0 victory over the County College of Morris on Saturday, October 26 at Lackawanna College. Full Story

STANTON – On September 26, Delaware Tech’s new cross country coach, Jim Fischer, received an Alumni Excellence in Coaching award during Augsburg College’s Athletic Hall of Fame ceremony. Fischer is a 1970 alumnus of Augsburg College, which is located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The ceremony was part of the Minnesota college’s homecoming week festivities. Full Story

DOVER - “Delaware Tech has a women’s cross country team? I didn’t know that!” Unfortunately, this type of comment was heard over-and-over by the coaching staff at the Terry Campus.
