Recently, Governor Jack Markell announced grant funding to 15 high schools to support Delaware students as part of the Pathways to Prosperity initiative. This program creates partnerships with the Department of Education (DOE), employers, colleges and universities, and school districts to prepare high school students for careers that offer good job opportunities now and for the future. GEORGETOWN - For one day only, a music festival is coming to Sussex County. The Happiness Project for Music and Mental Health will be held on Wednesday, March 4 from noon-10 p.m. at Delaware Technical Community College’s Owens Campus in Georgetown. The event is free to students, staff, faculty, and the general public, and is open to all ages. Full Story

Delaware Technical Community College and Salisbury University’s Franklin P. Perdue School of Business celebrated the signing of business transfer agreements between the two campuses on Wednesday, December 10. Students from Sussex Technical High School and Delaware Tech joined others from the Perdue School of Business to learn more about the University and the new agreements. Full Story
