WILMINGTON - On Friday, February 5, 2016, Delaware Technical Community College’s Dental Health Center, located at the College’s George Campus in Wilmington, hosted Give Kids a Smile, a national program that provides free dental care to children from low-income families.

Delaware Tech’s Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society chapter advisors met to renew collegewide efforts to enhance Phi Theta Kappa activities and initiatives. The campus chapters are collaborating to increase awareness of the honor society and its benefits and scholarships.
STANTON - Three Delaware Tech Criminal Justice: Law Enforcement Option students from Delaware Tech’s Stanton/George and Terry Campuses were awarded $1,000 scholarship by the Delaware Police Chiefs’ Foundation to assist in completing their education at Delaware Tech.
Georgetown – Commercial Transportation Department Chairperson Chris Antonik and students Brandon Thompson of Delmar, and Joann Abraham of Milford, hit the road bright and early Dec. 10 as part of Wreaths Across America. They will be delivering wreaths to seven cemeteries throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware.
STANTON - Students enrolled in Delaware Tech’s Chemical Process Operator (CPO) program had an opportunity to learn outside of the classroom recently.
Architectural Engineering Technology, Construction Management, and Architectural Engineering Interior Design students and faculty from Delaware Technical Community College attended the NeoCon East design expo and conference at the Baltimore Convention Center on October 30.
DOVER – Delaware Tech’s Center for Industry Research and Workforce Alignment (CIRWA) was recently highlighted in a national report for its use of “best practice” real-time labor market technology to enhance the college’s understanding of regional workforce dynamics.
DOVER - The Delaware Tech Terry Campus women’s cross country team finished in third place at the 2014 NJCAA Region XIX, Division I Championship held October 25 at Branch Brook Park in Newark, NJ. It is the first year the women’s team has competed at the NJCAA level.
DOVER - Delaware Tech Terry Campus women’s volleyball player Hanna Hinderer was recently named to the NJCAA Division II All-Region XIX Team and the Region XIX Championship All-Tournament Team. The announcement followed the conclusion of the league’s championship tournament, which was hosted by the Terry Campus.
Today, Delaware Technical Community College presented its Fiscal Year 2016 budget request to state budget officials in the Senate Chamber at Legislative Hall in Dover. The presentation emphasized the College’s continuing commitment to workforce development and serving the community.
STANTON – Delaware Technical Community College’s Athletic Department will host the first home game of the 2014 men’s and women’s basketball season at the Stanton Campus Gymnasium on November 12 beginning at 5:00 pm with a women’s game. The men’s team plays at 7 pm.
