Short honored as On-Site Professional of the Year Georgetown – The Town of Delmar’s Robert Windsor, of Delmar, was named the 2012 Water Operator of the Year and Sussex County Engineering’s Ann F. Hobbs, of Frankford, was named the 2012 Wastewater Operator of the Year at the 2013 Operator of the Year Ceremony on May 2 at Delaware Technical Community College’s Owens Campus. Full Story

DOVER — Senator Tom Carper was briefed on early childhood best practices and procedures at Delaware Tech’s Child Development Center May 3. The Center is a teaching site for Delaware Tech Early Childhood Education majors. It is a STAR Level 5 facility, meaning it has achieved the highest level awarded by the Delaware Stars for Early Success quality rating and improvement system. Full Story
