STANTON – On May 3, 2016, the Athletics Department at the Stanton Campus hosted its annual Athletic Awards Banquet to celebrate the accomplishments of its student-athletes.
Congratulations to the Delaware Tech Higher "Edger"cators – Domonique Carter, Dr. Reginald Chandler, Virginia Sticinski and team captain Delaware Tech President Mark Brainard for participating in Special Olympics Delaware's "Over the Edge" event on May 12.
Delaware Tech men’s lacrosse had four players named NJCAA Region XIX 2016 All-Region.
Goalie Curtis Thomson and defender Chase Evans were first-team selections, while midfielders Jordan Ashby and Justin Malloy were second-team honorees.
Cassidy honored as On-Site Professional of the Year
GEORGETOWN – Delaware Rural Water Association’s Robert Slater, of Bridgeville, was named the 2013 Water Operator of the Year, and the City of Seaford’s Brian Murphy, of Seaford, was named the 2013 Wastewater Operator of the Year at the 2014 Operator of the Year Ceremony on May 8 at Delaware Technical Community College’s Owens Campus.
GEORGETOWN - Ralph “Butch” Lee, former custodian and bookstore clerk for Delaware Technical Community College, was inducted in the Owens Campus Hall of Fame on Friday, April 4, 2014.
NEWARK – The Delaware Tech women’s basketball team at the Stanton/Wilmington Campus has made strides toward building an exciting team for the 2014-2015 season with six Delaware high school grads signing letters of intent recently.

DELAWARE – On April 29, WHYY’s First Extra television show focused on higher education in Delaware. Delaware Tech was among the institutions of higher education that were featured and Executive Vice President Dr. Mark Brainard was interviewed for this special edition.
DOVER – Delaware Tech student Steve Seichepine of Clayton, has been selected to receive a Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship. He is one of 85 scholars selected this year to receive the award, and the first from Delaware Tech.
WILMINGTON - On April 11, 2014, Delaware Tech hosted a press conference at its Wilmington Campus solar panel parking lot with representatives from Environment America, the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC) and the Wilmington Mayor’s office
Delaware Tech students from the Terry and Stanton campuses – accompanied by instructors Jennifer Clemons (Terry) and Dan Kasper (Stanton) – recently visited Penn State University’s GridSTAR facility at The Navy Yard in Philadelphia.
