As the nation celebrated National Volunteer Week in April, Delaware Technical Community College continues to celebrate its year-long 50th anniversary through volunteerism – “Delivering Excellence, Changing Lives” through service to others.
GEORGETOWN – Photography, video, creative writing and graphic design converge for the second annual Multimedia Art Showcase at the Milton Theatre on Wednesday, April 27, from 6:30-8 p.m.
STANTON - You may notice something a little different when you walk through the Student Affairs hallways at the Stanton and George Campuses. “Safe Zone” stickers adorn the doors of several academic counselors and other staff members.

DELAWARE – On April 29, WHYY’s First Extra television show focused on higher education in Delaware. Delaware Tech was among the institutions of higher education that were featured and Executive Vice President Dr. Mark Brainard was interviewed for this special edition.
DOVER – Delaware Tech student Steve Seichepine of Clayton, has been selected to receive a Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship. He is one of 85 scholars selected this year to receive the award, and the first from Delaware Tech.
WILMINGTON - On April 11, 2014, Delaware Tech hosted a press conference at its Wilmington Campus solar panel parking lot with representatives from Environment America, the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC) and the Wilmington Mayor’s office
Delaware Tech students from the Terry and Stanton campuses – accompanied by instructors Jennifer Clemons (Terry) and Dan Kasper (Stanton) – recently visited Penn State University’s GridSTAR facility at The Navy Yard in Philadelphia.
DOVER - Heather Patosky of Dover has been named the Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce’s Communications Coordinator.
STANTON – On April 4, 2014, U.S. Senator Tom Carper visited Delaware Tech’s Stanton Campus to tour the new Sustainable Energy Training Center (SETC) and visit the nursing program.
DELAWARE - This year Delaware Technical Community College ranked fifth nationwide in the Digital Community Colleges Survey. This comprehensive survey, conducted by the Center for Digital Education, recognizes innovative community colleges that provide first-rate student learning environments.
