STANTON – Delaware Tech’s Stanton Campus was home to some of the greatest –and youngest – minds in science on February 26-28, 2013. Over 100 projects about math, physics, social science, biology, zoology and computer science were on display as part of the 18th annual Delaware Technical Community College Science Expo. Full Story

DOVER - The Terry Campus Alpha Beta Kappa Chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa national honor society received several recognitions of excellence at the Mini Honors and Regional Convention, held Feb. 28 to March 2 in Baltimore. Phi Theta Kappa is the largest honor society in the U.S. for two-year colleges, with more than 2.5 million members and 1,280 chapters worldwide. Full Story

DOVER - Delaware Tech’s Upward Bound program held its annual TRIO Day Celebration on Saturday, Feb. 23. Nine Upward Bound alumni came back for this year’s TRIO Day to share their experiences and offer tips and advice to current Upward Bound students and parents. Full Story

DOVER – Delaware Tech’s Nursing Department at the Terry Campus was awarded a $162,000 grant to support the expansion of the nursing skills laboratory to include a separate simulation lab. The grant is funded through Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield Delaware’s “BluePrints for the Community” grant program. Full Story

STANTON – The Department of Biology and Chemistry at the Stanton Campus held its 2nd Annual Student Research Poster Session in December 2012. Fourteen students presented their research accomplishments to faculty, staff, peers and industry members. Full Story
