As the nation celebrated National Volunteer Week in April, Delaware Technical Community College continues to celebrate its year-long 50th anniversary through volunteerism – “Delivering Excellence, Changing Lives” through service to others.
GEORGETOWN – Photography, video, creative writing and graphic design converge for the second annual Multimedia Art Showcase at the Milton Theatre on Wednesday, April 27, from 6:30-8 p.m.

DOVER - On Monday, March 10, Kris McGlothlin was named the new head coach of Delaware Tech’s Lady Hawks women’s volleyball team. McGlothlin – a native of Swords Creek, Va. – will bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to the team.
STANTON / WILMINGTON - On February 17, the Electronics and Computer Engineering Technology Department at Delaware Tech’s Stanton/Wilmington Campus hosted a networking dinner bringing together students and industry professionals for an evening of conversation and engagement.
DOVER - Delaware Tech Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing instructor Dora Eyong, MSN RN PMH-BC recently had an academic article published. The article, “Effects of Stress Level and Emotional Intelligence on Academic Achievement of Nursing Students,” ran in the November/December 2013/January 2014 quarterly edition of the DNA Reporter.
DOVER - Two Delaware Tech criminal justice majors from the Terry Campus were recently awarded $500 scholarships by the Delaware Police Chiefs’ Foundation for essays highlighting the latest technological advances in policing.
STANTON/WILMINGTON - Members of Delaware Tech’s Vanguard Society gathered at the Wilmington Campus recently for an event to honor the members’ personal and academic achievements over the fall semester. The Vanguard Society is an organization of diverse male students who are community-conscious and driven to raise social and self-awareness.
