DOVER – Twenty-seven Delaware Tech students were inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society at the Alpha Beta Kappa Chapter ceremony Nov. 27.Phi Theta Kappa is the largest honor society in the U.S. for two-year colleges, with more than 2.5 million members and 1,280 chapters worldwide. STANTON – Delaware Technical Community College student Richard “Toby” Bennett of Stanton, DE, was selected as one of 40 community and junior college students from across the nation to be part of the National Community College Aerospace Scholars project. Participants worked with NASA engineers at the Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, AL. Full Story

DOVER – Delaware Tech’s Terry Campus will be a Financial Empowerment Center in Delaware’s $tand by Me® Financial Empowerment System. Financial empowerment is a priority of Gov. Jack Markell and is a core element of his economic development strategy. The first center was launched at Hudson State Service Center in 2011. Full Story
