Students earning associate degrees in several majors at Delaware Tech will benefit from recently signed agreements that provide an avenue to a bachelor’s degree from Pennsylvania College of Technology. The agreements provide students from four Delaware Tech majors with a streamlined transition to junior-level standing in bachelor-degree majors, without duplicating courses. Full Story

Delaware Technical Community College and Southern Illinois University Carbondale (SIU Carbondale) recently partnered with the signing of several new transfer agreements. These new transfer agreements will provide pathways for Delaware Tech associate degree graduates to transfer as juniors to SIU Carbondale and earn a bachelor’s degree in the following majors: Full Story

STANTON - On May 1, 2015, Delaware Tech hosted the 2015 Collegewide Business Plan Competition. It was the first time the event has involved students from Entrepreneurship Technology programs from across the College. A lucky 13 students competed in the program’s capstone project of presenting a business plan in a judged competition. Full Story

Recently, Governor Jack Markell announced grant funding to 15 high schools to support Delaware students as part of the Pathways to Prosperity initiative. This program creates partnerships with the Department of Education (DOE), employers, colleges and universities, and school districts to prepare high school students for careers that offer good job opportunities now and for the future.
