After completing their service with the U.S. Marines in the late 60’s and returning to Delaware, twin brothers Dan Tidwell and Dave Tidwell used their GI Bill benefits to begin their college education at Delaware Technical Community College’s Jack F. Owens Campus.
Some of the most important learning experiences take place outside of the classroom. This year, the Criminal Justice Club is keeping that in mind as they plan many activities and field trips for its members.
GEORGETOWN – The Franklin P. and Arthur W. Perdue Foundation recently awarded a three-year $105,000 grant to Delaware Technical Community College to grow manufacturing training and education in Kent and Sussex counties. The Foundation is the charitable giving arm of Perdue Farms.
DOVER – The Delaware Tech Terry Campus was again a gathering point for the area’s business and education leaders, state and local government officials and community members as it hosted the 8th annual Kent County Economic Summit on September 20, 2016.
GEORGETOWN – Natalie L. Herring, of New Castle, and John B. Roach, of Georgetown, have been selected as recipients of the 2016 Distinguished Alumni Award for Delaware Technical Community College’s Owens Campus and will be honored on Thursday, Sept. 29.

WILMINGTON - Roughly 35 Red Clay Consolidated School District high school seniors were transported to Delaware Technical Community College (Delaware Tech) Thursday morning for the launch of an expanded dual enrollment program.
Delaware Technical Community College is officially launched its Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree program. The online degree program is designed for current registered nurses (RNs) who are ready to pursue the next level of nursing education while working in the field.
DOVER - Delaware Tech Terry Campus women’s cross country student-athlete Keyondra Wayman was recently honored with a 2015-16 NJCAA Exemplary Academic Achievement Award.
