GEORGETOWN – The Franklin P. and Arthur W. Perdue Foundation recently awarded a three-year $105,000 grant to Delaware Technical Community College to grow manufacturing training and education in Kent and Sussex counties. The Foundation is the charitable giving arm of Perdue Farms.
DOVER – The Delaware Tech Terry Campus was again a gathering point for the area’s business and education leaders, state and local government officials and community members as it hosted the 8th annual Kent County Economic Summit on September 20, 2016.
GEORGETOWN – Natalie L. Herring, of New Castle, and John B. Roach, of Georgetown, have been selected as recipients of the 2016 Distinguished Alumni Award for Delaware Technical Community College’s Owens Campus and will be honored on Thursday, Sept. 29.

DOVER - Delaware Tech Terry Campus student Ajahnique Dandy of Dover has been named a 2016 New Century Scholar. She was selected Delaware’s honoree after achieving the state’s highest score in the All-USA Community College Academic Team competition.
WILMINGTON - On March 2, Delaware Tech hosted a Career U – Opportunity and Entrepreneurship event at the George Campus, a new program to provide opportunities for students to ready themselves for the next step after graduation.
GEORGETOWN – The automotive program at Delaware Technical Community College’s Owens Campus was recently named the top school in the northeast region by Tomorrow’s Tech in the 2015 School of the Year competition.
On Wednesday, March 2, Delaware Tech partnered with the United Way of Delaware to host National Read Across America Day at all campus locations. The annual event is held in March in honor of children’s book author Dr. Seuss, whose birthday is March 2, 1904.
WILMINGTON – The Stanton and George Campuses’ 12th annual Mardi Gras gala, held February 20, 2016, drew about 500 guests and raised funds to support student scholarships.
Delaware Technical Community College is the recipient of a $125,000 grant from the JPMorgan Chase Foundation to expand pathways for careers in technology through a CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Routing and Switching certificate program.
