Delaware Technical Community College employees and students are proud to support Delaware 22in22 – a campaign to raise awareness of and prevent soldier suicide. September is suicide prevention and awareness month and the number 22 is significant in that nearly 22 soldiers take their lives each and every day as a result of feeling they have no other way to deal with their pain and suffering. STANTON - On April 1, the third graduating class of the Constable Academy at Delaware Tech celebrated their achievement in a daytime ceremony at the Stanton Campus. A dozen graduates of the training program are now State Constables. Full Story

On Monday, March 2, Delaware Tech partnered with United Way of Delaware to host National Read across America Day at all campus locations. The annual event is held in March in honor of children’s book author Dr. Seuss, whose birthdate is March 2, 1904. The Military Friendly® School designation was awarded by Victory Media to the top 15 percent of colleges, universities and trade schools in the country that embrace military students and commit to their success.
