STANTON/WILMINGTON - The group was led by Robert S. Weis, Program Coordinator of the Chemical Process Operator Program at Delaware Tech. Weis said the tour reinforced the technologies that the students were exposed to in class. “The students were very impressed with the tour, and were all eager to learn more about job possibilities at the refinery,” said Weis. WILMINGTON - On Saturday, October 12, 2013, Delaware Tech’s Stanton/Wilmington Campus hosted its 3rd annual Flavors of the World International Food and Wine Tasting event. The event showcased international cuisine prepared by the Delaware Tech Culinary Arts and Food Service Management Departments, as well as beer and wine. Full Story

Delaware Tech celebrated National Manufacturing Day on October 4 by sponsoring workshops on campus and tours of local manufacturing businesses for students studying engineering technology, electromechanical, construction management, biomedical and computer information systems at the College. NEWARK – On Monday, October 14, administrators from Delaware Technical Community College’s Stanton and Wilmington Campus and Red Clay Consolidated School District signed an agreement for a coordinated Early Childhood Field Experience program between the two institutions that will place student teachers in the classroom earlier in their college career.
