DOVER – Delaware Tech's Terry Campus held its Phi Theta Kappa Alpha Beta Kappa Chapter Spring Induction and All-State Academic Team recognition ceremony March 26. The following students were inducted into Phi Theta Kappa: David Hewitt, Justin Hirt, Lauren Martin, Carolyn Neisser, Rebekah Parker, Christa Patterson, Nicolas Slater, Katherine Soller, Zachary Spudis, Jesse Vitanza, Haley Walker, Dalton Wharff, and Kimberlee Woods. DOVER - The Terry Campus Alpha Beta Kappa Chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa national honor society received several recognitions of excellence at the Mini Honors and Regional Convention, held Feb. 28 to March 2 in Baltimore. Phi Theta Kappa is the largest honor society in the U.S. for two-year colleges, with more than 2.5 million members and 1,280 chapters worldwide. Full Story

DOVER - Delaware Tech’s Upward Bound program held its annual TRIO Day Celebration on Saturday, Feb. 23. Nine Upward Bound alumni came back for this year’s TRIO Day to share their experiences and offer tips and advice to current Upward Bound students and parents. Full Story

DOVER – Delaware Tech’s Nursing Department at the Terry Campus was awarded a $162,000 grant to support the expansion of the nursing skills laboratory to include a separate simulation lab. The grant is funded through Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield Delaware’s “BluePrints for the Community” grant program. Full Story

DOVER – Energy students showcased their final projects in December for interested faculty and staff, who were impressed by the high level of skills and professionalism demonstrated by the students. These students are not only learning marketable skills, but are building their knowledge about smarter energy usage and applying what they learn in their own homes. Full Story
