DOVER – Delaware Tech’s Terry Campus will be a Financial Empowerment Center in Delaware’s $tand by Me® Financial Empowerment System. Financial empowerment is a priority of Gov. Jack Markell and is a core element of his economic development strategy. The first center was launched at Hudson State Service Center in 2011. Full Story

DOVER – This year Delaware Technical Community College ranked sixth nationwide among its peers in the Digital Community Colleges Survey, a comprehensive study conducted by the Center for Digital Education that identifies and awards colleges that provide a high level of service to students and faculty through information technology. DOVER – Delaware Senator Harris B. McDowell III, Senate Energy and Transit Chair, drove up to Delaware Tech’s Terry Campus Sept 27 in a Tesla Roadster – a top-of-the-line electric car – in order to utilize the College’s electric car charging station. Full Story

DOVER – Energy Chair Jennifer Clemons attended the Renewable Energy Train the Trainer Solar Electric Academy July 22-28 in Paonia, Colo. The academy is designed for high school and two-year college science and technical education instructors. Attendees are selected from applicants nationwide. Full Story
