Delaware Tech nursing students engage in real-life health scenarios through new nursing simulation lab
DOVER - Delaware Tech’s new nursing simulation lab gives students significant professional health care training and practice prior to entering the medical field. The College – using grant funding from Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield Delaware’s “BluePrints for the Community” – renovated existing space and added a five-bay simulation lab to its facility. DOVER - Delaware Tech Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing instructor Dora Eyong, MSN RN PMH-BC recently had an academic article published. The article, “Effects of Stress Level and Emotional Intelligence on Academic Achievement of Nursing Students,” ran in the November/December 2013/January 2014 quarterly edition of the DNA Reporter.
