DOVER - Delaware Tech’s new nursing simulation lab gives students significant professional health care training and practice prior to entering the medical field. The College – using grant funding from Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield Delaware’s “BluePrints for the Community” – renovated existing space and added a five-bay simulation lab to its facility. The article, “Effects of Stress Level and Emotional Intelligence on Academic Achievement of Nursing Students,” ran in the November/December 2013/January 2014 quarterly edition of the DNA Reporter. DOVER - Two Delaware Tech criminal justice majors from the Terry Campus were recently awarded $500 scholarships by the Delaware Police Chiefs’ Foundation for essays highlighting the latest technological advances in policing. Full Story
