The Delaware Tech men’s cross country program recently signed Dover High School student-athlete Sean Saxton to a letter of intent. Saxton will join a team that won last year’s NJCAA Region 19 Championship.
The winners of a black and white license plate raffle were announced recently, and congratulations go to Pete and Susan Booker of Wilmington, DE. Tickets were sold over several months, with proceeds benefiting the College’s student scholarship fund.
Delaware Tech’s Cross Country Team recently signed three recruits for its 2017-2018 cross country team. These included:
• Brandon Halter from St. George’s Technical High School
• Isabella Hanrahan from St. Mark’s High School
• Alexander Nieves from Glasgow High School
WILMINGTON – The Stanton and George Campuses’ 12th annual Mardi Gras gala, held February 20, 2016, drew about 500 guests and raised funds to support student scholarships.
Delaware Technical Community College is the recipient of a $125,000 grant from the JPMorgan Chase Foundation to expand pathways for careers in technology through a CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Routing and Switching certificate program.

DOVER – The 4th annual Delaware Tech Terry Campus Chocolate 5K Run/Walk, held February 13, 2016, was supported by nearly 600 participants and raised $28,000 for the school’s international education study abroad scholarship program and on-campus Global Understanding Series.

Delaware Tech’s Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society chapter advisors met to renew collegewide efforts to enhance Phi Theta Kappa activities and initiatives. The campus chapters are collaborating to increase awareness of the honor society and its benefits and scholarships.
