Delaware Tech has established agreements with four-year colleges and universities that connect Delaware Tech associate degree programs with bachelor's degree programs to create smooth transfer opportunities for you. These Connected Degree programs enable you to complete your associate degree and then transfer to a four-year degree program as a junior.

THE CONNECTED DEGREE 2 + 2 CURRICULUM

Delaware Tech's associate degree program in Accounting provides students with core accounting, business, and general education courses as well as information technology and communication skills to prepare them for entry-level technical and professional careers in industry, in local, state, and federal government, and in public accounting. Additionally, students are prepared to continue their education at the bachelor's degree level.

Delaware State University offers a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Accounting. Students in this program gain a solid understanding of current issues in organizational management, the global competitive environment, economic trends, and cutting-edge technology. Furthermore, the program provides students with additional accounting courses required for the CPA exam. Accounting job opportunities for this degree include auditors, tax, management, and governmental accountants.

***If ACC 222 has not been completed, then 42-308 (Managerial Cost) must be taken; otherwise students will choose between 42-412 (Corp Tax) or 42-424 (Auditing II).

Students must complete a minimum of 121 credits for the Bachelor of Science degree in Management at DSU.
RDG 120, Critical Reading and Thinking, is a required DTCC corse unless the student is exempt.
