YOUR PATH TO A BACHELOR'S DEGREE

Delaware Tech has established agreements with four-year colleges and universities that connect Delaware Tech associate degree programs with bachelor's degree programs to create smooth transfer opportunities for you. These Connected Degree programs enable you to complete your associate degree and then transfer to a four-year degree program as a junior.

THE CONNECTED DEGREE 2 + 2 CURRICULUM

Delaware Tech's Associate Degree program in Biotechnology: Biological Sciences Option offers students a theoretical and practical education in various aspects of biology and chemistry that can be applied to diverse careers in the medical, environmental, industrial, and agricultural fields. Standard techniques used in science laboratories are covered, and special emphasis is placed on science and math instruction to prepare students for upper-level course work. Delaware State University's Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences provides preparation for students planning to pursue a technical position or advanced study requiring knowledge and skills related to biomedical, environmental, organismal, or other areas of biological science. This degree provides a strong base in molecular and cellular biology and allows electives to provide the flexibility for students to prepare themselves to attend graduate school or professional school for medical, dental, or other allied health careers.

The Bachelor of Science program in Biological Sciences at Delaware State University requires a minimum of 121 credits. Course sequencing may vary by semester. See your advisor. RDG 120, Critical Reading and Thinking, is a required DTCC course unless the student is exempt.
