YOUR PATH TO A BACHELOR'S DEGREE
Delaware Tech has established agreements with four-year colleges and universities that connect Delaware Tech associate degree programs with bachelor's degree programs to create smooth transfer opportunities for you. These Connected Degree programs enable you to complete your associate degree and then transfer to a four-year degree program as a junior.
THE CONNECTED DEGREE 2 + 2 CURRICULUM
Delaware Tech's associate degree program in Chemistry: Math Concentration teaches students the processes and procedures of laboratory work, modern instrumentation and chemical principles in preparation for employment in research and in a laboratory setting. This option also prepares students for further study in Chemistry at the baccalaureate level. Delaware State University's bachelor's degree program in Chemistry provides a strong foundation for students wishing to concentrate in chemistry and/or chemical engineering. The curriculum meets the standards adopted by the American Chemical Society for undergraduate professional education in chemistry. Graduates are prepared for a variety of positions in areas such as research, sales, technology, and engineering. Additionally, program graduates may choose to continue their education through graduate study.

|*DTCC students are strongly recommended to take MAT 282, which transfers for DSU's 25-252, Calculus II as a post associate degree course.||See your advisor for proper selection of courses to meet DSU's requirement of one African-American Experience and two multicultural courses.|
|Students must complete a minimum of 121 credits for the bachelor's degree in Chemistry at DSU. Credits remaining for bachelor's degree completion are based on the physics course sequence taken at DTCC. Course offerings by semester may vary. See your advisor. RDG 120, Critical Reading and Thinking, is a required DTCC course unless the student is exempt.|
