Criminal Justice

to Criminal Justice

An opportunity to gain an associate degree from Delaware Tech and a bachelor's degree from Goldey-Beacom College.

YOUR PATH TO A BACHELOR'S DEGREE

Delaware Tech has established agreements with four-year colleges and universities that connect Delaware Tech associate degree programs with bachelor's degree programs to create smooth transfer opportunities for you. These Connected Degree programs enable you to complete your associate degree and then transfer to a four-year degree program as a junior.

THE CONNECTED DEGREE 2 + 2 CURRICULUM

Delaware Tech's associate degree program in Criminal Justice provides career education for employment or career advancement in public and private criminal justice organizations. Graduates are prepared to practice careers in law enforcement and related services, corrections, counseling and case management. In addition the program provides students the foundation for transfer to public and private institutions to complete the requirements for a bachelor's degree. Goldey-Beacom's Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice prepares students for Professional careers in the criminal justice system. The career choices for criminal justice majors are diverse and may include jobs in local, state and federal law enforcement agencies, the court system, and in private and corporate businesses. This program also can be considered by students who are interested in graduate studies in the fields of law, criminal justice administration, political science and social work. The program focuses on two areas of criminal justice which relate directly to the current curricula at Goldey-Beacom College: business crime or white collar crime and computer crime as well as cyber-terrorism.

VALUE FOR YOU

By completing your associate degree at Delaware Tech, you'll receive excellent instruction in small classes at a campus close to home. Delaware Tech's affordable tuition can reduce the overall cost of your college education, making the completion of your bachelor's degree more manageable.
