Delaware Tech has established agreements with four-year colleges and universities that connect Delaware Tech associate degree programs with bachelor's degree programs to create smooth transfer opportunities for you. These Connected Degree programs enable you to complete your associate degree and then transfer to a four-year degree program as a junior.

THE CONNECTED DEGREE 2 + 2 CURRICULUM

The Criminal Justice: Homeland Defense and Emergency Management Option prepares students for entry-level careers with local, state, and federal law enforcement and emergency management agencies as well as corporate organizations. Courses offered provide a basic understanding of the techniques and processes for emergency preparedness, management, response to and recovery from man-made and natural disasters. In addition the program provides students the foundation for transfer to public and private institutions to complete the requirements for a bachelor's degree.

Union Institute & University's degree completion program in Criminal Justice Management can be completed entirely online and is designed to offer criminal justice professionals the opportunity to pursue their educational goals while continuing their work in the field. Graduates are prepared for careers in law enforcement, corrections, victim services, security, and court services. Graduates may also use the degree for entrance into graduate programs.

This connected degree is to Union Institute & University's Online Criminal Justice Degree Completion Program.
The CRJ courses at UI&U are offered in 8-week sessions, and the general education courses are offered in 16-week semesters.
RDG 120, Critical Reading and Thinking, is a required DTCC course unless the student is exempt.
Students must complete a minimum of 120 credits for the bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice.
