to Organizational Management

An opportunity to gain an associate degree from Delaware Tech and a bachelor's degree from Wilmington University.

YOUR PATH TO A BACHELOR'S DEGREE

Delaware Tech has established agreements with four-year colleges and universities that connect Delaware Tech associate degree programs with bachelor's degree programs to create smooth transfer opportunities for you. These Connected Degree programs enable you to complete your associate degree and then transfer to a four-year degree program as a junior.

THE CONNECTED DEGREE 2 + 2 CURRICULUM

Delaware Tech's associate degree program in fire protection prepares graduates to protect people, property and the environment from the dangers of fire. Fire protection engineering technicians are not firefighters; they are specialists who design sprinkler and alarm systems, and structures which comply with state and national fire regulations. Delaware Tech is the only community college in the area which offers this specialized technology option. The fire protection engineering technician can work in a variety of areas including insurance, industry, manufacturing, municipal and state agencies. Fire protection engineering technicians apply their knowledge to develop and review fire prevention plans, conduct occupancy inspections for code compliance, develop fire safety and loss prevention programs, and design fire protection systems.

Wilmington University's Bachelor of Science degree program in Organizational Management (BSOM) is a unique degree completion program designed to meet the educational needs of working adults with college credits from accredited institutions or from work or military experience. The program is conducted in a condensed time frame with an instructional schedule tailored to accommodate busy lifestyles. The program will help students develop the relevant skills needed to manage organizations in today's job market. Students will develop strong communication and leadership skills and develop an ethical approach to business and life.
