Connected Degree

Hospitality Management

to Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management

An opportunity to gain an associate degree from Delaware Tech and a bachelor's degree from University of Delaware.

YOUR PATH TO A BACHELOR'S DEGREE

Delaware Tech has established agreements with four-year colleges and universities that connect Delaware Tech associate degree programs with bachelor's degree programs to create smooth transfer opportunities for you. These Connected Degree programs enable you to complete your associate degree and then transfer to a four-year degree program as a junior.

THE CONNECTED DEGREE 2 + 2 CURRICULUM

Delaware Tech's accredited associate degree program in Hospitality Management prepares students with a solid background in the principles of business as well as in specific areas of hospitality operations. Graduates are prepared to play a vital role as managers in the success of a hotel, restaurant, country club, theme park or attractions environment. Additionally, students may continue their education at the bachelor's degree level. Consistently ranked in the top ten hospitality programs, the University of Delaware's Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel, Restaurant & Institutional Management (HRIM) prepares students for rewarding careers in the hospitality industry. HRIM students take the theories learned in the classroom and apply them to the operation of two hospitality businesses on campus; the Vita Nova Restaurant and the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel. For more information, please visit: www.lerner.udel.edu/HRIM.
