YOUR PATH TO A BACHELOR'S DEGREE

Delaware Tech has established agreements with four-year colleges and universities that connect Delaware Tech associate degree programs with bachelor's degree programs to create smooth transfer opportunities for you. These Connected Degree programs enable you to complete your associate degree and then transfer to a four-year degree program as a junior.

THE CONNECTED DEGREE 2 + 2 CURRICULUM

Delaware Tech's associate degree program in Human Services provides career education for those interested in working with community service programs, providing individual and group counseling services, and developing human relations skills for working with individuals with diverse backgrounds. Graduates are prepared to gain entry level employment with governmental agencies or private firms as well as to continue their education at the baccalaureate level. Delaware State University's Bachelor of Social Work degree program prepares students for entry level, professional generalist social work practice with individuals, families, groups, organizations, and communities (nationally and internationally) in diverse settings, including both public and private sectors. Students are introduced to empowerment and a strengths perspective to enhance their practice and to promote social and economic justice for all, especially populations-at-risk. Additionally, students are prepared for study at the graduate level.

VALUE FOR YOU
