YOUR PATH TO A BACHELOR'S DEGREE
Delaware Tech has established agreements with four-year colleges and universities that connect Delaware Tech associate degree programs with bachelor's degree programs to create smooth transfer opportunities for you. These Connected Degree programs enable you to complete your associate degree and then transfer to a four-year degree program as a junior.
THE CONNECTED DEGREE 2 + 2 CURRICULUM
Delaware Tech's Information Security program addresses local, regional, and national workforce needs following the National Security Telecommunications and Information Systems Security standards. Students will learn how to build and maintain secure networks, diagnose and resolve vulnerabilities, implement security policies, and manage operating systems. Graduates will be prepared to protect personal and networked computing devices from various kinds of cyber attacks and will be qualified for entry-level positions such as computer network technician, network specialist, computer support specialist, database administrator, and network administrator.
Western Governors University's Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (IT) program is primarily designed for those who have some technical knowledge and are ready to move on to increased levels of expertise and responsibility in the information technology field. This online program is flexible and adaptable to the student's schedule. In addition to a foundation of IT skills and knowledge the curriculum incorporates 15 recognized industry certifications as part of the degree program. The cost of required certifications is provided at no additional cost to the student. They are covered by the term tuition fee. Graduates are prepared for long-term careers as information technology professionals.
