Delaware Tech has established agreements with four-year colleges and universities that connect Delaware Tech associate degree programs with bachelor's degree programs to create smooth transfer opportunities for you. These Connected Degree programs enable you to complete your associate degree and then transfer to a four-year degree program as a junior.
THE CONNECTED DEGREE 2 + 2 CURRICULUM
In Delaware Tech's accredited associate degree program in Management, students will acquire knowledge and skills in specific areas of management such as human resources, training and development, project management, organizational behavior and strategy development along with a broad based knowledge of support areas such as accounting, law, computer technology and communications. Graduates are prepared for supervisory level management positions in different types of organizational settings in all sectors of the business world. Goldey-Beacom's Bachelor of Science degree program in Business Administration, Entrepreneurial Studies Concentration integrates the classroom and the real world through a dynamic mix of leading-edge knowledge, involvement with successful entrepreneurs, and hands-on development. Students learn key skills such as creativity, market focus, and business planning which are essential to successful ventures. Student learning goals represent the basic knowledge and skills necessary to understand the processes for assessing needs and opportunities in a market, translating an idea into a product or service, and developing a formal business plan, which includes an analysis of funding and of the scalability of the proposed solution.
