YOUR PATH TO A BACHELOR'S DEGREE
Delaware Tech has established agreements with four-year colleges and universities that connect Delaware Tech associate degree programs with bachelor's degree programs to create smooth transfer opportunities for you. These Connected Degree programs enable you to complete your associate degree and then transfer to a four-year degree program as a junior.
THE CONNECTED DEGREE 2 + 2 CURRICULUM
Delaware Tech's Associate Degree Nursing Program is approved by the Delaware Board of Nursing and is accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission. The graduate is prepared to function as an integral member of the health care team within the roles of provider of care, manager of care, and member within the discipline of nursing in a variety of health care settings and is eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses.
Wesley College's Master of Science in Nursing is designed for the Registered Nurse with or without a Bachelor's degree. This Clinical Nurse Specialist curriculum combines elements of the BSN for RN with Master's level nursing studies, streamlining progression toward completion of the MSN without compromising educational integrity. The program prepares the graduate for advanced practice as a clinical nurse specialist in a wide variety of health care settings to promote and maintain high level wellness and to improve health care delivery in a rapidly changing society.

Nursing (RN to MSN)
|*Core courses are selected on an individual basis to meet the core curriculum requirements of Wesley. Course planning for these courses are done with the graduate program director. Statistics and religion must be included in the selection.
**Students may choose to do a thesis or capstone project for 6 credits or a creative/scholarly project for 3 credits. If the 3 credit project is chosen, a graduate elective is selected by the student for the other 3 credits.
|RDG 120, Critical Reading and Thinking, is a required DTCC course unless the student is exempt.
Course offerings by semester may vary. Student must consult with their advisor.
Candidates for the RN to MSN program must be registered nurses holding a current , unencumbered license.
All nursing classes meet one night per week. The course night does not change if courses are taken as offered. Core classes are not included in this option.
