Connected Degree

Nursing

to Nursing (RN to BSN)

An opportunity to gain an associate degree from Delaware Tech and a bachelor's degree from University of Delaware.

YOUR PATH TO A BACHELOR'S DEGREE

Delaware Tech has established agreements with four-year colleges and universities that connect Delaware Tech associate degree programs with bachelor's degree programs to create smooth transfer opportunities for you. These Connected Degree programs enable you to complete your associate degree and then transfer to a four-year degree program as a junior.

THE CONNECTED DEGREE 2 + 2 CURRICULUM

Delaware Tech's Associate Degree Nursing Program is approved by the Delaware Board of Nursing and is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). The graduate is prepared to function as an integral member of the health care team within the roles of provider of care, manager of care, and member within the discipline of nursing in a variety of health care settings and is eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses. The University of Delaware's innovative online RN to BSN program allows the flexibility of completing the BSN, while working as a registered nurse. As one of the first distance learning BSN completion programs in the country, the online learning environment allows nurses to study when and where it is convenient for them. Full time and part time study progressions are available and tuition is often covered through employment education benefit dollars. UD nursing instructors are national leaders in nursing education and research. Individualized counseling is provided to each student as they progress through the program.

VALUE FOR YOU

By completing your associate degree at Delaware Tech, you'll receive excellent instruction in small classes at a campus close to home. Delaware Tech's affordable tuition can reduce the overall cost of your college education, making the completion of your bachelor's degree more manageable.
