These Connected Degree programs enable you to complete your associate degree and then transfer to a four-year degree program as a junior.
THE CONNECTED DEGREE 2 + 2 CURRICULUM
Delaware Tech's associate degree program in Office Administration prepares graduates with the administrative support and office administration skills and the organizational and computer skillsets that are the foundation of any business. While you sharpen your hands-on skills in word processing, electronic file management, multimedia communication methods and specialized computer software applications, you will also develop expertise in communication and human relations, ensuring a rewarding career with the proficiencies necessary to work successfully with others. Students in this program are placed in an internship position within the business community where they can apply their knowledge and gain the valuable work experience that employers seek. Strong office administration skills are highly sought after in all business environments, including government, non-profit, and corporate. Wilmington University's Bachelor of Science degree program in Business Management provides courses and business-related in-class experiences for students who intend to pursue careers in business management or apply to graduate school. Course offerings emphasize rigorous analysis of the concepts and principles that are basic to an understanding of the management field. Course work relates theories and ideas to the operating practices and policies of business organizations. These courses provide a unique opportunity for students to explore the workings of management. As supplemental activities to the traditional classroom format, "hands on" classroom experiences provide an awareness of what really happens in the business world.
