Respiratory Care

to Allied Health

An opportunity to gain an associate degree from Delaware Tech and a bachelor's degree from Wilmington University.

YOUR PATH TO A BACHELOR'S DEGREE

Delaware Tech has established agreements with four-year colleges and universities that connect Delaware Tech associate degree programs with bachelor's degree programs to create smooth transfer opportunities for you. These Connected Degree programs enable you to complete your associate degree and then transfer to a four-year degree program as a junior.

THE CONNECTED DEGREE 2 + 2 CURRICULUM

Delaware Tech's associate degree program in Respiratory Care provides students with specialized skills in the management, treatment and diagnostic evaluation of patients who have life threatening lung disorders. This program is fully accredited by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (COARC) and the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP). Students will be prepared for the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Entry Level and Advanced Practice Examinations.

Wilmington University's bachelor's degree completion program in Allied Health is for Allied Health practitioners who have earned an associate degree with an Allied Health concentration. The program enables practitioners to transfer up to 75 credits from their initial education. The goal of the program is to provide expert practitioners in the Allied Health field with the knowledge and skill needed to teach the next generation of Allied Health practitioners or to advance in their careers with a focus in administration.

VALUE FOR YOU

By completing your associate degree at Delaware Tech, you'll receive excellent instruction in small classes at a campus close to home. Delaware Tech's affordable tuition can reduce the overall cost of your college education, making the completion of your bachelor's degree more manageable.
