Connected Degree

Visual Communications: Advertising Design Option

to Graphic Design

An opportunity to gain an associate degree from Delaware Tech and a bachelor's degree from Wilmington University.

YOUR PATH TO A BACHELOR'S DEGREE

Delaware Tech has established agreements with four-year colleges and universities that connect Delaware Tech associate degree programs with bachelor's degree programs to create smooth transfer opportunities for you. These Connected Degree programs enable you to complete your associate degree and then transfer to a four-year degree program as a junior.

THE CONNECTED DEGREE 2 + 2 CURRICULUM

Delaware Tech's associate degree program in Advertising Design is a focused curriculum aimed at training new professional creative talent for the information age. The program offers a valuable way to capitalize on your talents as you harness your imagination to the tools of the electronic media. You will open opportunities for yourself in graphic arts and web design, as well as marketing and sales communications. This program prepares you for a successful career where you will apply creative commercial and graphic arts solutions for the promotional needs of the publishing, printing, or advertising industries. Wilmington University's Bachelor of Science degree program in Graphic Design prepares graduates to turn creative ideas into dynamic visual imagery. Students learn to merge ideas using typography, color and industry standard software as technology merges with new and exciting forms of communication. The Digital Publishing Concentration will focus on digital publishing from web to tablet, offering students courses on typography, illustration and color theory. It will also focus on applications of graphic design such as the design of brochures, catalogs, product packaging and displays.

VALUE FOR YOU

By completing your associate degree at Delaware Tech, you'll receive excellent instruction in small classes at a campus close to home. Delaware Tech's affordable tuition can reduce the overall cost of your college education, making the completion of your bachelor's degree more manageable.

MAKING THE CONNECTION
