Delaware Tech’s Innovation and Technology Center (ITC) is your partner in success, delivering customized training at its new, state-of-the-art facility in New Castle County. With a hands-on learning approach and broad curriculum of technical programs, the ITC is poised to meet the demands of labor markets across the Mid-Atlantic. As the only facility of its kind in the region, Delaware Tech’s ITC is a unique resource that can help strengthen your competitive edge.

Training that Meets Your Needs

Delaware Tech’s programs are tailored to meet specific needs, adapted to learning levels, and flexible enough to meet the varied schedules of the working world. For workers pursuing continued certification or advancement within specialized fields, Delaware Tech has an extensive menu of training options available during day and evening hours. Companies of any size seeking to increase productivity, efficiency, employee retention and growth are encouraged to take advantage of our ability to teach with hands-on, customizable programs in a learning lab environment. A variety of regularly-scheduled classes is also available.

Blended Solutions for Diverse Learning Styles

We respect adult learners and appreciate the diversity of learning styles. Needs assessment and skills verification are an integral part of our strategy. We’ll help determine the training you need and make sure participants demonstrate competency before moving to the next level. Individual modules are designed for students to diagnose and problem-solve, with opportunities to repeat and practice until success is achieved. Our experienced instructors understand the needs of incumbent workers, and also have the ability to translate tech-speak for the novice. And should your employees need a refresher in basic skills, our math, reading and English courses are available as well.

Meeting your Performance Objectives

Delaware Tech’s ITC programs are outcome-driven. With leading-edge equipment and curricula, our facility is designed to simulate working environments where clients select training modules specific to their business or trade. As subject matter experts, our instructors provide hands-on training and oversee simulation activities on integrated workstations. These innovative approaches provide an educational experience that meets your performance objectives and contributes to the growth and potential of your organization.

Partners in Your Success

At Delaware Tech, we build relationships based on trust and are committed to your success. Our outstanding team of credentialed professionals stands ready to help you reach your goals. Whether training individuals with varying skills or helping to launch a new technology across your organization, we are an effective and affordable education partner. Together, we’ll build success by helping you maintain your competitive edge.

Home School Programs

The Innovation and Technology Center has partnered with several home school “networks” in the community to provide career and technical training. The programs have been developed in coordination with leaders of these organizations, and provide a unique hands-on opportunity for home-school students on Friday’s throughout the traditional school year. Several options are available each semester, and participants MUST be associated with a home school “network” or able to obtain approval (in writing) from a school or similar agency to enroll.
