Certified Pharmacy Technician
Certified Pharmacy Technician - EYK 607
Students will be trained to perform the duties of a pharmacy technician in both retail and hospital settings. Program elements include Pharmacy Theory and Lab including Pharmacy fundamentals, math, physiology, records and inventory and HIPAA regulations and compliance. Program includes (2) 24 hour internship rotations, one in a hospital and one in a retail setting. Tuition includes books, uniform, Certificate Testing, and drug screening. Upon completion, students will be scheduled for the PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board) exam. Attendance at a pre-admission info session is required.
