Jose Weidner-Ahorrio

Jose Weidner-Ahorrio is an Academic Counselor who began working at Delaware Tech in 2013. Before coming to Delaware Tech, Jose was an administrative manager for a clinical research consulting company. Away from work, Jose loves to visit museums and historical sites and has artwork on permanent exhibition at an art museum at the University of Puerto Rico. In the future, he plans to complete his doctoral degree in educational psychology, and focus on developing and measuring programs that will support students and help them reach academic success.

"I believe in the opportunities that Delaware Tech provides to its students and staff. Delaware Tech is an institution that provides opportunities to grow as a professional and cares for its community of learners."

"My favorite memory is the day I was hired to be part of a great team, and every moment I am able to help students."
