Q: What is your favorite thing about working at Delaware Tech?

"My favorite thing about working at Delaware Tech is the students and staff members. I enjoy seeing the excitement on students' faces when they begin their educational journeys. Since I started at Delaware Tech, I have also met some of the best colleagues who have been so kind and helpful. I have learned a lot from them."

Q: Why was it important for you to work at Delaware Tech?

"As a former graduate of the College, I had a pleasant experience when I was a student here. The people were warm and encouraging. I wanted to be able to do the same for others within the community when they begin college."

Q: Describe your first day at Delaware Tech. What was that experience like?

"My first day at Delaware Tech was very memorable. It was a mixture of emotions. I was both excited and nervous because it was my first job after college. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. I remember it was a busy day and the building was packed with people for New Student Orientation."

Q: What changes have you seen in yourself since you started working here?

"In the last few years, I have seen a lot of growth within myself professionally. I became more knowledgeable within the different areas in Student Affairs, and I was able to apply those skill sets when assisting students. In addition, being in the front line as an introvert has helped me come out of my comfort zone and become more extroverted. "

Q: Do you have a favorite memory from your time at Delaware Tech thus far?

"My favorite memory at Delaware Tech thus far is attending the events leading up to graduation. You can see the anticipation and enthusiasm on the faces of students as they finish their degrees. It is extremely rewarding to see them pursue and accomplish their goals."

Q: What's something people may not know about you?

"Something people may not know about me is that I lived and went to school in the Philippines when I was younger. I am also fluent in Tagalog."
