YOUR PATH TO A BACHELOR'S DEGREE
Delaware Tech has established agreements with four-year colleges and universities that connect Delaware Tech associate degree programs with bachelor's degree programs to create smooth transfer opportunities for you. These Connected Degree programs enable you to complete your associate degree and then transfer to a four-year degree program as a junior.
THE CONNECTED DEGREE 2 + 2 CURRICULUM
Delaware Tech's associate degree program in Human Services provides career education for those interested in working with community service programs, providing individual and group counseling services, and developing human relations skills for working with individuals with diverse backgrounds. Graduates are prepared to gain entry level employment with governmental agencies or private firms as well as to continue their education at the baccalaureate level.
The University of Delaware's Human Services: Clinical Services Concentration program provides a strong background in child, family, and adult development as well as in the structure and functioning of human services in the community, the delivery of services to children and families, and research, evaluation, and policy process. Graduates are prepared to pursue careers working directly with children, adolescents, adults, and their families and may pursue graduate studies in a wide range of graduate programs, including psychology, counseling, social work, early childhood intervention and law.
