Title IX/Civil Rights
If you are a victim of sexual misconduct or discrimination, or need to report an issue of sexual misconduct or discrimination, please contact your Title IX Coordinator.
Why is it important to report to the Title IX Coordinator?
The College’s Title IX Coordinator provides information regarding resources, protective measures and next steps. Depending on the nature of the allegations, an investigation may be opened to determine if a violation to the College’s Policy on Sexual Misconduct has occurred.
The College has a duty to promptly respond to all complaints of sexual misconduct; whether on or off campus. The purpose is to prevent sexual misconduct on campus, promptly address reported incidents, limit its effects on the educational environment, and prevent its reoccurrence.
Title IX compliance involves having a clear reporting channel to the Title IX Coordinator and training the campus community about how to recognize sexual misconduct and how to report it.
