Austin Zebrook

Austin Zebrook, a mechanical engineering technology major, utilized the SEED scholarship program to attend Delaware Tech. "Coming to Delaware Tech allowed me to stay at home and finally gave me the opportunity to continue one of my greatest passions: lacrosse."

Since starting at Delaware Tech, Austin has persevered and overcome the loss of loved ones. "It's not something we talk about in a professional setting, but it is something that affects us there. I think the most important thing is to remember your goals, stay oriented, and push through day in and day out." He noted he has improved his time management skills.

For students looking to improve their grades, Austin recommends visiting the math and writing centers. "The tutors are always there to help." He also advises joining a club or playing a sport. "There's something special about the brotherhood and camaraderie that comes along with being involved in a club or a sports team, and it's a great way to make friends."

After graduation, Austin plans to transfer to a four-year school as an aerospace engineering major and continue his collegiate lacrosse career. He wants to work as an aerospace engineer.
