Human Services

Etoile McIvor came to Delaware Tech to study human services because it is the first step toward her dream career, which is to start and run a youth program to prevent kids from going into the juvenile/prison system. She chose Delaware Tech for its "great reputation" and sees attending the College as an "opportunity."

"Coming to college allows me to push past limitations and become a better version of myself."

Etoile has faced many obstacles during her time in college, both personal and academic. "This opportunity has been rewarding thus far." She advised her fellow students to, "ask questions and utilize the resource center for additional support."

Etoile thanked Delaware Tech's faculty and staff for their support, particularly Megan Wagaman, math instructor, and John Bradley, academic counselor.

After graduating from Delaware Tech, Etoile plans to research the next steps required to start a youth program.
