Ian Booz

When Ian Booz made the decision to return to school in pursuit of a nursing degree, he had no idea where to begin. "After speaking with friends and family, the overwhelming consensus was that the best nursing students came out of Delaware Tech. That solidified my desire to be a part of the best program in the state."

Ian has always had a passion for healthcare. "The commitment to patient individuality, responsibility, integrity, and respect are values that resonate deeply."

Since coming to Delaware Tech, Ian has made a habit of setting small, attainable goals. "Being able to break down seemingly overwhelming long-term goals into small, palatable pieces has proved crucial to my success so far.

"I've had the privilege of learning from incredibly knowledgeable instructors that genuinely care about you and your success. I've also had the honor of learning alongside some of the smartest and conscientious individuals I have ever met. I think this speaks volumes of the caliber of student in the nursing program."

After graduating from Delaware Tech, Ian plans to continue his education by earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, and later a Master of Science in Nursing. Ultimately, Ian would like to become a nurse practitioner.
