Joan Amaya

Joan Amaya came to Delaware Tech to expand her knowledge and advance in her nursing career. "Delaware Tech has a great nursing program." Joan is a single mother with two kids and still balances her personal life with her college courses.

Since coming to Delaware Tech, Joan said she feels inspired to learn more. She advises other students to always try their best. "Study and be patient with yourself."

After graduating from Delaware Tech, Joan plans to find a position at Nemours.
