Sawsen Ben Romdhane

Sawsen Ben Romdhane has been dreaming of becoming a teacher since the age of five, and she will never stop chasing that dream. A mother of two, Sawsen feels proud that all her dedication and hard work is being recognized through Student Spotlight.

Since coming to college, Sawsen feels more confident. "I certainly have more knowledge and I am more open toward diversity." She advises students to set up a clear goal and walk toward it. “No matter how big or small your footsteps are, keep going and know that 'impossible' is actually 'I'm possible.'"

Sawsen has had positive experiences with all her instructors. "I am thankful for Mr. Villarreal because I feel that I learned a lot from him, not only academic lessons but also life lessons."

After graduating from Delaware Tech, Sawsen plans to transfer to Wilmington University and get all the degrees she can afford. She plans to teach education at Delaware Tech.
